Hey folks, medium-sized update here! Really, I just wanted to push a patch out early because I found a bug in the WebGL of 0.12 lol. Anyway, 0.13 adds the "basic" versions of several complicated features (namely Nations, Races, and Terrain) that I hope to expand on more in the near future.
You can view the new biomes system in the world map - now, "what biome goes where" is based on hidden values like "wetness" and "flatness", which the game pulls out of perlin random noise (like how Minecraft does it). Previously, we just did a coin flip checkerboard, so this is a lot neater.
I've also tweaked a few values related to travel distance and injury in order to ideally make the game a little easier. Let me know what you think! And in the next patch, look forward to me finally adding combat.
